Fateless

An Hungarian youth comes of age at Buchenwald throughout World Struggle II. György Köves is 14, the son of a service provider who’s despatched to a pressured labor camp. After his father’s departure, György will get a job at a brickyard; his bus is stopped and its Jewish occupants despatched to camps. There, György discover camaraderie, struggling, cruelty, sickness, and loss of life. He hears recommendation on preserving one’s dignity and vanity. He discovers hatred. If he does survive and returns to Budapest, what is going to he discover? What’s pure; what’s it to be a Jew? Sepia, black and white, and coloration alternate to shade the temper.
